Statue of Unity

Statue of Unity, the "World Tallest Statue", dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who is the First Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India, popularly known as the Iron Man of India.

The Statue of Unity is located on the bank of Narmada River in Kevadia, Gujarat. Statue standing at a height of 182 m (597 ft), which symbolizes the Unity, Strength and Leadership of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The Plane of the Statue of Unity was announced in 2010 by Narendra Modi (CM of Gujarat at that time). The construction work of the statue is started in 31 October, 2014 and was completed in 31 October, 2018, The Inaugration of the statue done by the Narendra Modi on 31 October, 2018.

View Gallery

The View Gallery offers a panoramic view of the scenic beauty around the Narmada River and the Sardar Sarovar Dam. The Position of the view gallery located at the Heart of the Statue at about 153 meter from the base. 

Reaching the View Gallery is an exciting experience because visitors are taken up by high speed elevators that travel through the interior of the statue to the view gallery. Inside the View Gallery there is a large Glass window provide for a clear and uninterrupted view of the surrounding.

Jungle Safari

The Jungle Safari of the Statue of Unity is also known as the "Sardar Patel Zoological Park", it is one of the major attraction of the Unity. The Jungle Safari is home to a wide variety of animals like Lion, Tiger, Leopard, Deer, Bears, Zebras, Giraffes and different variety of birds and reptile can be seen here.

Visitors explore the Jungle Safari by using safari vehicles and buses which are provided by the authorities of the unity. These vehicles have a fixed routes inside the park ensuring safety for both visitors and the animals.  

The Jungle Safari of the Statue of Unity plays an important role in wildlife conservation and environmental education. It aim to spread awareness about the endangered species and need to protect forest and wildlife.

The area of the Safari is surrounded by the lush greenery, peaceful environment, scenic surrounding create a calm and refreshing atmosphere for all the visitors.

Ekta Cruise

Ekta Cruise is a riverboating offering a peaceful and scenic experience on the Narmada River, it provides visitors with a memorable way to view the World Tallest Statue from the water. 

The Cruise operates between Shreshtha Bharat Bhavan (SBB) and the Statue of Unity (SOU) on the Narmada River. The cruise provide stunning view of Narmada Ghat, Shulpaneshwar Temple, Sardar Sarovar Dam, Statue of Unity and the panoramic river view, landscapes surround the water.

The Cruise experience a ride of around 2 hours from boarding to return, Boarding usually begins 15 to 30 minutes before departure and visitors for ride are advised to reach the Shreshtha Bharat Bhavan for boarding to avoid missing their Cruise slot.

River Rafting

River Rafting is one of the major attraction and Adventuras activity offers at Statue of Unity, It provides a refreshing Natural Environment,  Lush Greenery, Rocky Riverbanks and Gentle Hills.

It is located near the Khalwani Eco Tourism Zone, . The route is about 5 km from Godbole Gate to Surya Kund. The route provide the Whirlpools, Rapids, and Multiple Turns. It is an exciting and adventure activity done on a Narmada River.

River Rafting is generally for the Age of  between 14 to 55 year, subject to basic condition. The activities operates during specific time slots, depending on weather and river condition. Advance booking is recommended, as the activity is most popular among tourists and slot are quickly fill especially during weekends and holiday season.

Narmada Maha Aarti

Narmada Maha Aarti is a devotional activity offering to "Maa Narmada", It is a Spiritual and Cultural activity performed on the bank of Narmada River and held after the Sunset. It is believed to be Symbol of Purity, Life and Divine Energy. 

The Aarti takes place at a specially developed riverfront close near the Statue, were the priests dressed in traditional attire gather to perform the ritual with rhythmic chants, Ringing Bells and Coordinates movement of Large Oil Lamp.

The Growing Lamps reflected on the water, creates a serene and meditation ambiance. Devotees and Visitors stand together in silence and experiencing a deep sense of peace and reverence.

Light Show 

Statue of Unity Light Show is a audio visual experience held on Statue, It show the Life, Vision and Contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel toward Nation. 

One of the striking feature of the Light Show is its emotional depth, Patriotic Music, Powerful Narration and lighting work together to create a sense of pride.
