Mattupetty Dam

Top Station
Top Station is Located about 32 km from Munnar town, It is situated at an altitude of 1880 meter (6170 feet) above the sea level, on the border between Kerala and Tamil Nadu. It is famous for offering a panoramic view of the western ghats and the Theni Valley of Tamil Nadu.
The name of the TOP STATION comes from the uppermost railway station of the old Kundala valley, which are used to transport tea from munnar to bodinayakanur (Tamil Nadu).
The Top Station often remains covered in mist, giving the feeling of being above the cloud. In every 12 years, the slopes around top station bloom with Neelakurinji flowers, turning the entire landscape a shade of blue.
It is one of the famous and favourite for the photography in munnar due to its stunning sunrise and sunset views.
Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary
