Jaipur

Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan India. It is also Known as "Pink City" due to the color of buildings. The Jaipur is famous for its History, Culture, Grand Palace and Architecture. It is one of India most popular tourist place and part of the Golden Triangle ( Delhi-Agra-Jaipur) for travel. Jaipur is about 296 km from Delhi and 238 km from Agra.

1. Amber Fort (Amer Fort)

Amber Fort is also known as Amer Fort, It is one of the most famous fort in rajasthan. Fort is built on the hills. The architecture of the fort is like red sandstone and marble. The feature of the fort is a Large Gates, Courtyards, Halls and Palaces. The Main attraction of the fort is a entrance gate of the fort beacause it is known as a Suraj Pol (Sun Gate).  

  • Timing :-      8:00 Am to 5:00 Pm ( DayTiming) and 6:30 Pm to 9:15 Pm (Light & and Sound Show)
  • Entry Fee :-  Different For India and Foreign Tourist.

2. Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)

Hawa Mahal is the iconic landmarks of Jaipur because the shape of the hawa mahal is like a Honeycomb with 953 intricately designed windows (Jharokhas). The architecture of the hawa mahal is Red and Pink sandstone with a five story structure resemble crown, inspired the lord Krishna. The Window of hawa mahal create a natural cooling, the keeping the palace cool in summer.

3. Jaipur City Palace

Jaipur city palace is one of the most famous place of the Jaipur city. In Which there are many thing to explore such as 

The Palace has a Chandra Mahal in which a seven story palace that serves as the royal family of jaipur. From the top of floor we see the whole city. 

The Palace has a Mubarak Mahal in which there is museum which display the royal costumes, textile, and artifacts.

The Palace has a Diwan I Khas in which hall of a private audience, it is famous for carry water from ganges to england through the two huge silver urns. Diwan I Khas is a hall for a public audience.

The Palace has a Baggi Khana for a museum exhibiting royal carriages and palanquins.

4. Jantar Mantar

Jantra Mantra is the place, were all the astronomical instruments are there which are used for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking stars and studing planetary motion.

5. Nahagarh Fort

Nahargarh Fort is one of the major forts in Jaipur, It was originally meant to Strengthen the Jaipur Defence. Located on the Aravalli Hills, It Also give panoramic views of the whole city.

The Nahargarh Fort have a Madhavendra Bhawan inside it, which is well decorated rooms and frescoes. From fort we see the best Sunset and get a breathtaking view of the city. There is also a Nahargarh Biological Park where all the wildlife animal are live.

Best time to visit Nahargarh Fort is  Evening(for Viewing Sunset) or Winter month, Some more place to visit Jaigarh Fort, Amber Fort, Amber Fort

6. Jaigarh Fort

Jaigarh Fort also known as Fort of Victory, Because it was constructed to protect the Amber Fort and was an important military stronghold of the Rajput. The fort is situated on the Aravalli Hills, offering the view of Jaipur and the surrounding them. There is a Jaivana Cannon, which is the world largest cannon on wheels, which was never used in battle.

  • Best time to visit is October to march for pleasant weather

7. Albert Hall Museum

The Oldest Museum of Rajasthan is Albert Hall Museum, Located in Ram Niwas Garden Jaipur. The museum showcases a vast collection of art, artifacts and historical treasures riches the reflection of the  rich rajasthan heritage. The Museum has a Egyptian Mummy, Miniature Paintings, Antique Coins & Weapons, Marble, Folk Musical Instruments and many more thing.

8. Birla Temple

Birla Temple is also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple, It is a stunning white marble temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. It is elegant architecture, peaceful atmosphere and spiritual.

Best time to visit is evening, when the temple is beautifully Light. The location of the temple is Moti Dungri Fort, Jaipur.

9. Galtaji Temple

The Temple is dedicate to Saint Galav, where believed to meditate here. It is also associated with the lord hanuman and sometime temple is known as Monkey Temple due to the large population of Monkey in this area. There are Seven holy water tanks (Kund) which are known as Gakta kund.
